Medicine is a multi-disciplinary division encompassing scientific, clinical and educational expertise across a wide spectrum of specialties. A fundamental aim of the division is to educate, train and inspire the next generation of scientists and doctors. Students benefit from training in an environment which fosters collaboration across the interface between basic science and the clinic, with world-class research facilities, including the Centre for Biomedical Research at our Royal Free campus and the Clinical Research Facility at University College London Hospital (UCLH). Our connections with the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries provide further depth to the student experience in terms of teaching and networking, as well as broadening potential future research and employment opportunities.
