"I chose UCL because it is a prestigious academic institution which provides its students with impeccable educational facilities and the university is ranked highly in my field. 

Statistics interests me because it is a science that is interrelated with all other disciplines and is an important tool for decisionmaking in many areas. The skills one gains from learning statistics provide the opportunity to work in many fields. 

I have been awarded the Crown Prince Sheikh “Tamim bin Hamad” Scholarship and when I graduate intend to go back home to Qatar and work as a statistics lecturer. UCL’s location is one of the many reasons that made me choose it.

 Living in London has exposed me to many cultures and it has helped improve my social skills as well as my cultural knowledge. Studying here has been a great experience as UCL shows a great deal of respect towards different religions and different nationalities."
