Deadlines

Owing to the competition for places, applicants are advised to apply as early as they are able; the number of places on each programme is limited.

Overseas applicants should note that if accepted by UCL, entry clearance to the UK can take a considerable amount of time and therefore applications should be made as early as possible. Applicants who need to meet funding deadlines should submit their applications in good time and certainly no later than five weeks before a funding deadline or 1 March, whichever is earlier.

UCL has a general application deadline of 2 August 2013 for the majority of postgraduate taught programmes (i.e. MSc or MA). However please note that some programmes listed below have later deadlines whilst other programmes listed separately below have earlier deadlines. The application deadline does not apply to research degrees where it is possible to start throughout the year. Research applicants should select a start date at least two months in advance of their application.
