A range of projects are taking place across the campus as part of a Masterplan vision to transform UCL into a more vibrant student focused environment, to support teaching and learning and improve the student experience
One of the projects is Wates House, which is to be comprehensively remodelled and extended to create a new home for the Bartlett School of Architecture.
Wates House is located immediately adjacent to Campbell House West and works will be ongoing, with project completion and the building open for the start of session 2016/17.
These works will, at some times, be noisy and UCL Student Accommodation would like to make prospective residents, particularly of Campbell House West aware of this, prior to accepting their offers.
A Transforming UCL website is being developed to support our new period of development and to ensure that staff and students are kept up-to-date with the developments. This will give an overview of all the projects and give guidance on all the frequently asked questions that you might have. This website can be accessed via the following link: www.ucl.ac.uk/transforming-ucl.
