1B23: QUANTUM PHYSICS SITES

Nice collection of applets showing the Bohr model of the atom and the way it absorbs or emits light, explaining the spectral lines of some of the elements. (These and several of the applets below are hosted by the University of Colorado's excellent Physics 2000 site.)
Applet showing the double slit interference experiment (written for optics, but the principles are the same for photons as for other particles).
There's also a slightly more "cutesey" version which shows the experiment being done with both photons and electrons.
De Broglie waves, including a nice applet illustrating how the Bohr quantization condition arises from fitting the waves into a circular orbit.
Electronic periodic table (shows basic properties of all the chemical elements)

Collection of applets illustrating various aspects of quantum mechanics, including wavefunctions of the hydrogen atom (in 2D and 3D) and Heisenberg's uncertainty principle.
A beautiful mouse-controllable view of the quantum states for the particle in a box.
Some nice simulations of the time-dependent Schroedinger equation (which we don't cover much in this course) showing how the wave function evolves. (I found this loads quite slowly, but the results are beautiful!)
