Phillip Leverhulme Prize awarded to Dr Peiris

Congratulations to Dr Hiranya Peiris who has been offered a Phillip Leverhulme Prize by the Leverhulme Trust. Hiranya is a lecturer in the Astrophysics group.
The Leverhulme Trust describes these prizes as being awarded to 'outstanding young scholars who have made a substantial and recognised contribution to their particular field of study, are recognised at an international level, and whose future contributions are held to be of correspondingly high promise.'
