UCL Philosophy

Professor José Zalabardo

Research Interests

My research covers areas of epistemology, metaphysics and philosophical semantics, as well as the interpretation of Wittgenstein’s philosophy. I’ve recently completed books on Scepticism (OUP 2012) and Wittgenstein’s Early Philosophy (OUP 2015). I am currently interested in developing a pragmatist account of representation and truth.

For more information please see my website.

I teach courses in epistemology, metaphysics, logic and Wittgenstein’s philosophy. I am currently teaching a 2nd-year undergraduate course on Intermediate Logic and a 3rd-year undergraduate/postgraduate course on Early Wittgenstein.
