Entry requirements
Students must have a good degree in Pharmacy from a recognised university and be registered as a pharmacist, usually in a country other than the UK. Clinical work experience is essential. Applicants must be familiar with standard software packages including word, excel and powerpoint.
The course is intensive and demanding, both in terms of study and self-development. Students need to be motivated in order to develop personal learning goals within the framework of the course. Students have competing deadlines and hence must develop good time management skills and are required to participate fully in the course by sharing findings and achieving the learning outcomes through student-led presentations and peer group discussions. Strong oral and written presentation skills are therefore important.
Students must provide two references, one of which must be from an academic who can comment on their educational background and the other must be from their current or most recent employer.
