Training Timetable

The Library provides a variety of training sessions to get you started with your research.

Tours of the Library give an overview of available services and resources.

Database training sessions provide an introduction to the resource. Advanced training sessions or sessions to cover particular areas can also be arranged. These sessions usually take place in a training suite within the Computer Unit.

Places are limited so booking in advance is crucial. We require 24 hours notice. To check availability, to book, or for any enquiry please email us.

• 14:30 Library Tour

Wednesday:

• 11:00 OVID databases (Embase/IPA)

Thursday:    

• 11:00 Web of Knowledge (Web of Science/BIOSIS Previews)
• Afternoons RPS (for academic staff). Please email Jean Harris to arrange a time.

Friday:

• 10:30 Library Tour
