Nadia Bukhari represents UK at South Africa Pharmacy Council Conference

Nadia Bukhari was recently invited by the South African Pharmacy Council to present at their 2nd National Pharmacy Conference on UK practices.

Nadia delivered two presentations; one on the UK CPD model and one on Independent Pharmacist Prescribing in the UK. The South African Pharmacy Council held their Second National Pharmacy Conference from 21 to 24 October 2016, at the Durban International Conference Centre.

The 2016 Conference was a week dedicated to Pharmacy in South Africa by those involved in and passionate about the pharmacy industry. Over 1,200 delegates attended the conference. Nine international speakers were invited, including Nadia.

Some of the focus areas of the conference included enhancement of the professional image of pharmacy, policy and service delivery issues in healthcare and the opportunities for pharmacy in the future healthcare system. Nadia’s presentations had been received very positively; pleasing feedback was also sent to the Director on her performance.
