PhD Research Day
The UCL School of Pharmacy will hold a PhD Research day on Friday 24th April 2015. Second and third year PhD students will have the floor to present their work in the form of posters and oral presentations respectively. This is an excellent opportunity to increase student and staff awareness of diverse research activities going on at the UCL School of Pharmacy. Projects spanning from basic neuroscience, through target identification and drug delivery, to the everyday use of medicines in patient cohorts will be presented.

13th ISN Advanced School 2015

Professor Robert J Harvey and Professor Kirsten Harvey are joining an international faculty at the 13th ISN Advanced School 2015 from 19th-23rd August 2015. The Advanced School will precede the 25th ISN-APSN Joint Biennial Meeting in Cairns and will be held at Fitzroy Island, within the waters of the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland.

Introduction to Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products for pharmacy professionals

UCL's new one-day 'Introduction to Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products' course is designed for those working in the pharmaceutical industry and is ideally suited to clinical trial pharmacists, production pharmacists and technicians, QPs and other QA staff with an interest in ATMP delivery. This course will provide you with knowledge and understanding of the issues around ATMPs, the skills required to work in this area and the education needed for handling and releasing ATMPs for patient use. You will be taught by research scientists, academic clinicians and pharmacists who are actively involved in frontline research delivery.
