Drug Discovery student awarded bursary for Yale exchange
Sara Kramar, a PhD student at UCL School of Pharmacy under the supervision of Dr Mire Zloh and Dr Geoffrey Wells, has been awarded a bursary from the Yale UCL Collaborative Student Exchange Programme. Sara will spend three months carrying out research at Yale University under the supervision of Professor William L. Jorgensen, Sterling Professor of Chemistry. Professor Jorgensen is one of the leading world experts and a pioneer in the field of computational chemistry with computer-aided drug design being one of his main research interests. This joint initiative has possibilities of fostering collaborations in drug discovery between UCL and Yale University via Sara’s participation in this exchange.
