Each student at
UCL is allocated a Personal Tutor, who is responsible for overseeing
their
academic progress, their personal and professional development as well as their general welfare. This Handbook is intended to
provide guidance
and information for both new and experienced Personal Tutors in all
parts of UCL.
Guidance & Support for Personal Tutors
This section contains information about the knowledge, skills and principles underpinning effective execution of the role of the Personal Tutor. It also contains suggestions on how tutorial sessions may be conducted and links to a community forum for UCL Personal Tutors for sharing good practice.
Helping Students in Difficulty
This section contains advice on dealing with common problems that students encounter and information on the UCL support system and student services
