Information Session on HEE/NIHR Pre-doctoral Clinical Academic Fellowship

Tuesday 9th January 2018, 5.30 - 7.00pm

  • Do you want to do a Masters at UCL and prepare an application for an NIHR doctoral level research training fellowship whilst continuing to work part time?
  • Or do you have a Masters and want to gain further informal research experience whilst preparing an application for an NIHR doctoral level research training fellowship and continuing to work part time?
  • Do you have a research idea but you’re not sure how to develop it?

At this session you can find out about the new funding scheme for AHPs available from the NIHR (HEE/NIHR Pre-doctoral Clinical Academic Fellowship), hear what UCL has to offer as a host organisation, get advice on convincing your manager to support you, and also develop your research ideas.

Previous experience of research not required. This session is particularly suitable for those with the beginnings of a research idea and those who have been considering developing a clinical research career.
