Inaugural Lecture of Professor Dino Petrides "20 Years of Trait Emotional Intelligence."

The Research Department of Clinical, Educational and Health Psychology invite you to attend the Inaugural Lecture of Professor Dino Petrides "20 Years of Trait Emotional Intelligence."

This is a non-technical talk intended to introduce some basic theoretical ideas and key research findings from the trait emotional intelligence research programme as it approaches its 20th anniversary. The talk is targeted at a lay audience and will present personal perspectives and anecdotes from the development of the programme over the years, its reach, and its collaborators around the world. It will also briefly touch upon applications of trait emotional intelligence theory within academic research settings (including in the areas of psychometrics, behavioural genetics, clinical, educational, and medical psychology) and beyond.

Inaugural lectures are an opportunity for recently-promoted professors to exhibit to the wider UCL community a flavour of their intellectual activity and research. The lectures will be followed by a drink reception.
