My lab's research centers around human learning and decision making. Methods include behavioural, computational modelling and simulation, brain imaging, eye tracking, genetics, real-world (e.g., consumer choice), group decision making, facial EMG, SCR, developmental, ageing, and big data approaches.

My undergraduates studies were completed at Brown University in cognitive psychology, mathematics, and computer science. I received my PhD from Northwestern University and then took an academic staff position at University of Texas at Austin, eventually being promoted to Professor. Late in 2011, I relocated to UCL.
