Justine Sambrook

Justine Sambrook is Assistant Curator of the RIBA Library Photographs Collection, an archive of over 1.5 million images of architecture worldwide. She has co-curated the exhibitions On the Threshold: the Changing Face of Houses; Unseen Hands: 100 Years of Structural Engineering; Over Here: European Architects in London; The Exploring Eye: The Photography of Eric de Maré and “Puttin’ on the Glitz: The Golden Years of Art Deco Architecture in Britain. Her publications include: 1001 Buildings to See Before You Die (Cassell, 2007), Phaidon Atlas of 21st Century World Architecture (2008), The Phaidon Archive of Graphic Design (forthcoming), The Modernist House (Phaidon, 2009), Building the New Millennium: Architecture at the Start of the 21st Century (Phaidon, 2009), the Phaidon Atlas of 20th “Century World Architecture (forthcoming) and the RIBA Journal.
