3rd UCL/UCLH PET MRI Course

This PET- MRI Course supported by Siemens Healthineers and GE Healthcare will run over 3 days and will provide an introduction to this exciting technology as well as focusing on current/future clinical and research applications and a PET MRI workstation reporting course.

Thursday 11th May 2017 - Radiographers/ Nuclear Medicine Technologists and Physicists Day


Morning session (Limited places available) - radiographers/nuclear medicine technologists (others welcome) including: •    PET MRI Physics update, •    GE & Siemens Q&A sessions •    Clinical/research applications of PET MRI. Afternoon Session - physicist/clinical scientists (others welcome) •    Practical PET/MRI physics issues •    Inter-site harmonization. •    Opportunities for collaboration/future collaboration

Friday 12th May 2017 - Lecture Day


•    Exploiting PET/MRI from both perspectives •    Hyperpolarised MRI for PET MRI •    Oncology •    Cardiac Imaging •    Neurology •    And more International guest speakers including Alexander Drzezga (Cologne), Heinz-Peter Schlemmer (Heidelberg), Markus Schwaiger (Munich), John Shah (Jülich), Adam Espe-Hansen (Copenhagen), Ken Miles (Australia/ London)

Saturday 13th May 2017 - Workstation Day (12 spaces)


•    Individual workstation review of PET MRI cases by our UCLH Consultants •    Common artefacts, pitfalls and handy hints •    Cases include whole body, system and organ based cases including in oncology and neurology. This course is suitable for:  MRI or nuclear medicine radiologists, physicists, physicians, radiographers and technologists.

Option 1: Lecture Day only = £99

Option 2: Radiographer/Nuclear Medicine Technologists/Physicists Day + Lecture Day = £99

Option 3: Lecture Day + Workstation Day = £199

Option 4: Workstation Day = £150

Option 5: Radiographer/ Technologists/ Physicists Day 11th May 2017 + Lecture Day 12th May 2017 + Workstation Day 13th May 2017 = £199

Option 6: Physicists Session Only Thursday afternoon 11th May 2017 = No Fee
