The Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) steering group was established in 2008, the UK TAVI registry collects data on all TAVI procedures performed in the UK since the introduction of the technique in 2007.
The registry is managed by NICOR with clinical direction and strategy provided by the UK TAVI steering group, which has representatives from the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society, the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland, NICOR, NHS England, and The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence.
