MINAP and Heart Failure Deadline Extension

Patients with retinal degeneration and their families gathered in London on April 21st to attend the first UCL/Moorfields Biomedical Research Centre for Ophthalmology “Retina Patient Day”. Over 250 attendees had the opportunity to interact with more than 40 clinicians and scientists from Moorfields Eye Hospital and UCL Institute of Ophthalmology Department of Genetics, who provided updates on their research into developing effective treatments for blinding retinal conditions.

The more people who take part in the heart disease audits, the more valuable the results will be. Some of the heart disease audits already have one hundred per cent participation from hospitals in England and Wales. Our aim is to get total participation for the all the heart disease audits.
Hospitals participating in our audits can enter data directly into CCAD or by importing files
that have been created using other clinical database systems.
