Join #BrightFriday - revamp your wardrobe for free this Black Friday

#BrightFriday is a wardrobe revolution, shunning endless sales and shopping fever and finding creative ways to get your fashion fix for less. Swap, make and alter your way to a brand new season of clothes without breaking your bank or the planet.

1) Attend our Bright Friday event

On 22 November there will be a free clothes swap in the North Cloisters, Wilkins Building. Dig out your unloved clothes and swap them for something new. There will also be some free drop-in sewing workshops and styling sessions from Emma Slade. 10am - 4pm all day.

2) See the #BrightFriday pop-up installation

The #BrightFriday pop-up installation will be outside the Wilkins Building at UCL. The cube represents the volume of clothes we throw away every 3.5 minutes in the UK - that's around 300,000 tonnes a year. We hope the cube inspires you to dig out your unloved clothes and swap them, upcycle them or restyle them into something new, to prevent them going to waste.

3) Hold your own clothes swap to win prizes.

No time to attend the clothes swap at UCL? Hold a clothes swap with your friends and you could win a free styling session or £100. Take a picture and send to jack@hubbub.org.uk to enter into the competition.
