Made In Italy: evening courses in Italian language, life and culture

UCL's world-renowned Italian department is hosting a new series of evening courses starting this September.

Made In Italy: evening courses in Italian language, life and culture

Participants will gain confidence in their knowledge of Italian language, life and culture and will have access to unique library resources and a range of seminars and events including the Italian Film Club.

Who are these evening courses for?

These courses are aimed at anyone wanting to study Italian culture and language including those:

  • Wanting to improve your Italian
  • Looking to move to Italy for business or pleasure and want to prepare
  • Passionate about Italy and want to explore its rich cultural heritage
  • working in Italy or with Italians and want to learn what makes them tick
  • Of Italian background and want to en-engage with Italy's culture
  • Connected to Italians socially and want to immerse yourself more in their culture

Courses

The range of evening courses includes:

  • Medieval & Renaissance Italy (28 Sept - 14 Dec 2015)
  • Intermediate Italian Language (30 Sept - 16 Dec 2015)
  • Contemporary Italy (11 Jan - 21 Mar 2016)
  • Post Intermediate Italian Language (13 Jan - 23 Mar 2016)

Duration, Eligibility, Cost

  • Each course lasts 10 weeks via one 2-hour evening session (6-8pm).
  • No formal entry qualificationsare required but a basic knowledge of Italian and curiosity for Italian language and culture required.
  • £480 per course
