UCLU Volunteering Services Unit want to help foster your great idea for a London-based community project. Our Student Led projects scheme exists gives you the chance to turn your bright ideas into projects that have a real impact on the lives of other Londoners. We provide staff support, project management training, and you can apply for up to £750 to help with running costs.

Last year, more than 70 different UCL student teams were created and they ran their own community projects. The student teams led on everything from sports activities in schools and a first aid training for parents on low incomes to a clothing bank for people experiencing homelessness, and a play scheme for young children in hospital.

We're currently looking to fund new projects for the next academic year, and for leaders to take on some of our existing activities.
