10 February 2016

This is your chance to present your research to an international audience within an interdisciplinary setting! The 2016 UCL's Migration Research Unit (MRU) Student Conference 'Moving Beyond Borders: Comparative Perspectives on Refuge' is now looking for undergrad/postgrad/PhD and postdoc students who want to present their work and take part in panel discussions, interactive workshops and seminars.

Conference

This conference is part of the Refuge in a Moving World series and is hosted by the UCL Department of Geography. It is being convened by an interdisciplinary team of MSc students affiliated with the UCL Migration Research Unit with the support of Dr. Elena Fiddian-Qasmiyeh and Dr. Claire Dwyer.

It will offer a space for students from across UCL and other universities in the UK and the EU to present papers that will help us better understand the history, causes, experiences, representations and implications of these shifts in politics, people and perceptions.

If you are interested in participating in one of our panels please submit a 300 word abstract before March 1st to: geog.migrationconference@ucl.ac.uk

For further information on the conference itself and the topics that will be discussed, please have a look at this PDF, our website, Facebook, and Twitter.
