Take part in a self-esteem group as part of a research study

11 January 2018

Do you experience difficulties with self-esteem? Do low levels of self-esteem sometimes make you feel anxious or depressed? If so, perhaps we can help.

Girl painting a smiley face We are UCL student researchers running a study looking into the effectiveness of an exciting new intervention for improving self-esteem.

Who is it for?

Undergraduate or postgraduate students at UCL.

What will it involve?

The intervention will consist of four, 2-hour group sessions that will run weekly at UCL, followed by a final 2-hour group, one month later. The study will start in January 2018.

You will also be required to complete some short questionnaires on four separate occasions.

What's in it for me?

If you decide to participate in the study, we hope that you will find the group sessions helpful and interesting.

The information gathered during this study will help to inform our understanding of treatment for domain-specific self-esteem. We anticipate that this will be a step towards improving interventions for self-esteem difficulties in the future.
