Information about the venues and what happens on the day is available on our new Graduation Ceremonies website.

Staff attendance

The online booking form for UCL academic staff who would like to attend the 2017 Graduation Ceremonies as part of the Academic Procession will be available after Easter. We will announce when this is open and provide instructions in the The Week@UCL.

Administrative staff wishing to enquire about availability for an auditorium seat are asked to email Giovanna Amorosi (grad_ceremonies@ucl.ac.uk). Please be advised that the new venue at Russell Square has a limited guest capacity and the seating of students' guests will take priority over any staff requests.

Student attendance

Students eligible to attend this year's graduation ceremonies have all received an email inviting them to apply for tickets via the UCL Student Information Service (Portico). Students will see a link on their Portico homepage to purchase tickets using a personalised online application form. Details of their provisional ceremony date and time are available on the first page of the application.

The new Graduation Ceremonies website contains everything students and staff need to know about how to apply, event venues, academic dress hire, graduation photography and UCL merchandise.

A reminder of key deadline dates for the 2017 Graduation Ceremonies

1 April 2017 - Students wishing to change from a 4-year MSci/MEng programme to a 3-year BSc/BEng must have this change active on their record by this date to be eligible to attend the 2017 ceremonies. Changes made after this date will mean the student will be invited to the 2018 Graduation Ceremonies.

1 April 2017 - Last selection date for undergraduate and graduate taught Master's programmes. Taught Master's students must have a conferred award on their record by this date to be eligible to be invited to the 2017 ceremonies.

4pm BST on 25 April 2017 - The deadline for eligible invited students to apply for tickets to attend the 2017 Graduation Ceremonies.

28 April 2017 - Last graduate research pass-list selected for the 2017 Graduation Ceremonies (note - these students will have a ticket application deadline extension).

Staff are asked to email Giovanna Amorosi (grad_ceremonies@ucl.ac.uk) if they have any questions.
