With the introduction of the new UCL Remote Access VPN service, you can now access the UCL network from any internet connected computer as if you were on campus.

This allows you to access services such as MyView (HR) and FIS (Finance) which have not been previously accessible from outside the UCL network

To use the new service, go to http://www.ucl.ac.uk/isd/staff/network/vpn and follow the guidance.Your computer must have up-to-date anti-virus and firewall software installed before the VPN service will operate. Also, when connected to the VPN service, ALL your network traffic will be routed through the UCL network, no matter whether the destination is in UCL or anywhere on the internet. Therefore, anyone using the service must be aware that they are boundby the UCL computing regulations and the JANET Acceptable Use Policy.
