Potential snow disruption at UCL

17 January 2013

All staff and students should be aware of the risk of significant disruption affecting travel and transport routes during the period of heavy snowfall.

Quad snow

UCL makes every attempt to keep activities running, with members of staff asked to try to come in to work if practicable but, if not, to advise their Head of Department (or deputy or line manager) if they are unable to come in.  Similar arrangements apply for leaving early if conditions worsen during the course of the day.  If it is necessary to curtail access to buildings, staff and students will be notified to that effect.  Where possible, working from home may be a possibility for some staff but this needs to be agreed by your line manager.

Students are asked to contact their department to check whether teaching or other activities are affected.

Where UCL-wide activities (e.g. Library Services) are known to be affected, details will be posted on this webpage.
