Superannuation arrangements of the University of London (SAUL): member presentations

All UCL staff eligible for SAUL are invited to attend the presentation "Rediscovering SAUL - Understanding and appreciating your pension scheme" on 23 November at 2.

Saul 30 pm in Roberts G06 Sir Ambrose Fleming Lecture Theatre.

Learn more about SAUL by attending the presentation provided on-site at UCL. The presenter will be a colleague from SAUL. The presentation will be an opportunity to find out more about SAUL and meet colleagues from UCL Pension Services. The presentation will include the following topics:

  • an overview of the scheme
  • the range of valuable benefits it provides
  • SAUL's financial position
  • other topical issues
  • new information available on the SAUL website
  • how members can increase their benefits by paying extra contributions, and the changes to how you can make extra contributions from April 2012.

This event is open to all UCL employees eligible for SAUL; as set out in your UCL Contract of Employment; you don't have to be close to retirement to attend! It is never too soon to start planning for your retirement in an tax-efficient manner.

If you are a new member of UCL staff, it is recommended that you attend this presentation so that you can find out more about your membership of SAUL and how to make the most of your membership, for example by paying Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs) and transferring in pension benefits from a previous employer.

The presentation will last approximately 1 hour, plus time for general questions. More information and how to book your place available here.
