IT Training schedule now available

1 October 2014

Information Services Division offers free IT training to UCL staff and students covering many desktop applications such as Microsoft Office, Photoshop, SPSS and more.

ISD

We are launching a new course, 'Practical Bibliography Management' which replaces our Endnote course and covers both Endnote and Zotero. The course has a pre-learning element which allows you to cover much of the theory through self-study prior to the course and to use the course itself to apply your knowledge to a particular scenario.

Need some guidance in choosing the right course?

We have lunchtime sessions to introduce both staff and students to the different applications available for bibliographic management, long document writing and statistical computing.

Don't have time to come on a course?

We have a wide range of training resources suited to different learning styles including video tutorials and interactive online learning.

Need individual help?

As well as classroom training we also offer one-to-one support to meet your specific training needs through our twice-weekly IT Training Drop In Service.

For details of our services please visit the ISD Staff IT Training web pages.

To book staff IT training courses, visit the UCL Training Booking System.

Please read the details carefully to ensure that the course suits your requirements and that you have the necessary pre-requisite skills.  Note that many of our courses require pre-learning so you must ensure you are able to complete this prior to the course otherwise you may be refused a place.

If there are no suitable dates available, please join the interest list and we will inform you of further dates as they become available. Although courses are provided free, a cancellation charge applies to late cancellations and 'no shows'.

Please see our FAQ pages for more details.
