Participants for UCL Clinical Psychopharmacology Unit research study

The UCL Clinical Psychopharmacology Unit (CPU) is runnng a research into new ways to help people to stop smoking.

Smoking

If you are seriously planning to quit in the near future and want to take part in research that may help people stop smoking, please email CPUexperiments@gmail.com and we will send you an information sheet.

Please only email if the following apply to you:

1. You smoke at least 10 cigarettes a day

2. You seriously want to try and quit in the near future

3. You would be willing to quit as part of this research

4. You do not have any serious physical or mental illness

5. You can come to UCL (in central London) on two occasions around 10 days apart

6. You are able to fill out a quick (20 questions) online smoking diary every day

If you are interested, please email for an information sheet. In the email, you must provide a contact phone number. We will need to call you and ask you a few questions to see if you are eligible to take part in the study, so please let us know a good time to call in your email.

If you take part in the study, you will be paid at the rate of £7.50 per hour for testing.

This study has approval from the UCL Research Ethics Committee (project ID: 3928/002).
