UCL Public Policy: secondment opportunities available

16 September 2014

UCL has established a scheme of part-time secondments for UCL researchers to spend time in Government departments or other policy organisations for a period of 3-6 months.

portico

The secondments aim to provide researchers with direct experience of a policy environment and enable them to support evidence-informed policymaking.

We now have two new, exciting and wide-ranging opportunities for early - mid career academic secondments to the Department for Transport (DfT) facilitated by UCL Public Policy through the Office of the Vice-Provost for Research.

The posts are Head of Research Delivery and Technology watch and Chief Scientific Advisor.

The closing date for Head of Research Delivery post is 29th September and applications have to be made through the Civil Service recruitment website. The DfT is keen to fill the Technology watch and Chief Scientific Advisor position as soon as possible. There is no formal closing date, but early applications will have an advantage.
