UCL Electrical Engineering organises free authorship workshop

  • Organised by UCL Electrical Engineering and sponsored by UCL Engineering Facult, this authorship workshop will offer advice on everything from how the IEEE publishing process works to basic writing tips and submitting a manuscript. The event is hosted by UCL Electronic and Electrical Engineering's Professor Izzat Darwazeh. You must register for this event using the link below.

    The goal of the workshop is to enable engineers, faculty, researchers, and authors to advance technology and their careers by enhancing their ability to get published and share their research with the scholarly community. The event is free to faculty, research staff, and postgraduate engineering students with an interest in learning how to publish with IEEE.

    The event is hosted by Professor Izzat Darwazeh, Head of the Communication and Information Systems Group, UCL Electronic and Electrical Engineering.

    • Keynote Speaker: Professor Saifur Rahman

    Saifur Rahman is the Joseph R. Loring Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the founding director of the Advanced Research Institute at Virginia Tech. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and a distinguished lecturer of the Power & Energy Society. Prof. Rahman served as the founding Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy from 2009 to 2012. He is the chair of the National Science Foundation (NSF) Advisory Committee on International Science and Engineering.
