Funds available for public engagement activities

7 July 2011

If you have an idea to connect your research, teaching or learning with people outside UCL, why not apply for a Beacon Bursary? Beacon Bursaries provide up to £1500 for UCL staff and students to run a vast range of activities.

UCL Funds are not the only thing you get from this award; we also provide support, advice, and connections with a lively network of staff and students at UCL.

To find out more, and to download the short application form, please visit the Public Engagement Unit website. The deadline is Wednesday 3 August 2011 at 5pm.

If your idea requires more funding, you could apply for up to £10 000 from our Innovation Seed fund. The deadline is Wednesday 28 September 2011 at 5pm. This summer we'll be providing short workshops to help you apply - the first one is on Tuesday 12 July. You can find out more from the website.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact Hilary Jackson in the UCL Public Engagement Unit: hilary.jackson@ucl.ac.uk or x32489 (020 7679 2489).
