Summer accommodation at UCL

10 April 2014

Although UCL residences only accommodate students during the academic year, this number drops to around 1,000 postgraduates each summer.

John Dodgson House

During this period (end of June to mid-September), some of the remaining bed spaces undergo maintenance, but most will be available to accommodate summer trade from language schools, conference groups, summer schools and individuals.

We will be renting out accommodation in 14 buildings in the Bloomsbury, Fitzrovia and Camden areas to a variety of groups (10 or more people) and individuals.

Following the completion of our newest student house, New Hall and the extension of John Dodgson House, UCL has added over 400 bedrooms to its existing student accommodation, bringing our overall capacity to 4,000 bedrooms.

We have a large variety of accommodation from single or twin rooms with shared facilities to en suite rooms. We also have two halls, Ramsay and Ifor Evans, that can offer catering for groups.

Individuals looking to book their stay at one of the UCL residences can do so via our website

For group bookings, there is still availability for summer 2014. If you are interested, enquiries should be sent to Cherril Fontaine at the accommodations team or her direct address

Alternatively, you can contact Cherril on 0207 387 4537 or internally on 32357.

UCL departments paying by IDT will receive a discount on their booking.
