A joint initiative between the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and UCL, the Bloomsbury Research Institute will house a new research facility to tackle global and local threats to our health such as antimicrobial resistance, malaria, TB and HIV/AIDS. The Bloomsbury Research Institute aims to accelerate the development of new treatments and solutions for the prevention and control of infectious diseases aimed at saving lives worldwide.

The proposal for a new facility on land belonging to the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine at Tavistock Place will provide state-of-the-art laboratories to bring together world-leading scientists to work on solutions to the most important global challenges in infectious disease.
