National Student Money Week 2014, 24-28 February

18 February 2014

We would like the support of all UCL staff to help promote and encourage students to take part in the programme for National Student Money Week.

National Student Money Week

This national event is aimed at promoting free financial help and support to all students. Here at UCL, we will be organising events the week commencing 24 February.

The event is supported by universities and colleges throughout the UK. This year's message is, "Manage your money - don't let it manage you."

National Student Money Week takes place each year and is designed to ensure that students, their parents, the media, politicians and the general public get to know about and celebrate the financial support and advice offered free of charge in universities, colleges and students' unions across the UK.

The focus is on communicating a positive message to the widest possible audience and to contribute to the collective voice of those working to improve students financial skills.

The UCL Student Funding office, in association with the National Association of Student Money Advisers (NASMA), is organising UCL's first National Student Money Week events. This will include advice on helping students save, budget and manage their money better with the support of UCL's Student Funding Welfare Adviser.
