Camden Shares & UCL

4 August 2011

UCL Union are encouraging more staff to get involved with Camden Shares, a resources sharing scheme for organisations in Camden.

Camden Shares

Camden Shares is a network for organisations, groups, individuals and businesses to come together to share resources, capacity and ideas and to build networks within the community. Members 'donate' resources to the network in a time economy and get back resources they need. Through Camden Shares, services are opened up, creating greater opportunities and partnership potential.

UCL Estates have agreed to offer access to UCL's rooms to community organisations through the Camden Shares scheme. UCL has been earning credits and been involved for a year now, with staff and students using UCL's credits to find new ways to build partnerships with community groups across the borough. For example, a number of PhD students have used the points to say thank you to people taking part in interviews and focus groups for their research.
