UCL Bloomsbury campus: security alert on 27 May

2 June 2011

On Friday 27 May at approximately 2:30pm there were bomb threat warnings received by UCL, UCH and Habitat on Tottenham Court Road.

Quad Following discussions with the Metropolitan Police it was decided that we would implement security procedures for the safety of UCL personnel until such time as the all clear had been given.

The campus was made secure until 3:30pm. The threat was investigated and was identified as a hoax. As the risk had subsided the campus was re-opened. We would like to thank all UCL staff and students for following our security procedures and for their patience on Friday afternoon.
