Free online course for parents: Understanding your child

13 January 2015

All UCL staff and students with a child aged five-years and under are eligible for a free voucher for an online course for parents.

The offer lasts until the end of March this year.

The course is titled 'Understanding your child' and is offered by the Solihull Approach, a project within the NHS for practitioners and parents to support parent/child relationships, emotional development and behaviour.

The Solihull Approach applies key messages from research to add to parents' understanding of their children. Parents will find more ways to think about what their child is telling them through the child's behaviour. They will also find more ways to think about their relationship with their child.

A course demo can be accessed at the Solihull Approach website here: http://www.solihullapproachparenting.com/demo/story.html

To be eligible for free enrolment, parents must live, work or study in Camden, have a child aged five-years and under and have obtained a CANparent voucher. Parents can either get a voucher through the CANparent website here or collect one from a Boots store.

To get started, contact the Solihull Approach office either by emailing enquiry@solihullapproachparenting.com or phoning 0121 329 1910.
