To many the introduction of a new finance system is something of a dry subject (alas not to those in Finance and ISD who are particularly excited). Nevertheless we wanted to highlight that the new MyFinance system goes live on Monday 4 August.

In January 2014 the new EU Research & Innovation funding scheme – Horizon2020 – commenced. The application process for H2020 is greatly simplified compared with its predecessor FP7. There are many calls addressing the research interests of UCL staff.

UCL 2034 strategy approved

UCL Council at its meeting on 8 July approved the final draft of the UCL 2034 strategy, which is now available to view on-line at http://www.ucl.ac.uk/ucl-2034.

MyFinance goes live on 4 August

The new finance system, MyFinance, will go live on the 4 August, replacing FIS. Everyone who uses FIS or enters financial information into other systems such as Portico or SIP will be affected.
