25 May 2012
The UCL Careers Service is running a week dedicated to UCL
2012 graduates, to help equip them with some useful knowledge and guidance to
help after graduation.
Class of 2012 Week is being held at the UCL Careers Service from Monday 28 May to Friday 1 June. As one of this year’s graduates, you will have the opportunity to:
- Meet employers with current vacancies at the UCL Jobs Market event
- Attend workshops covering job search strategies
- Learn how to write an effective CV
- Speak to a careers consultant about your particular situation
The UCL Jobs Market event will take place on Wednesday 30 May from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. It will provide a chance to meet employers still looking to recruit for jobs, internships and graduate schemes, in areas including: media, marketing, technology, engineering, retail and international development.
The Class of 2012 is brought to you by the UCL GradClub. You
can register for free access to UCL GradClub, which provides a dedicated
support service designed for UCL graduates for a further 2 years.
The creative job seeking techniques I learned here not only helped me land my first job but also to keep my head up during grey job-seeking days.
This service includes one-to-one coaching, careers workshops and events tailored for the graduate cohort as well as continued access to the UCL Careers Service programme and information library.
Christos Anastasopoulou (Msc Environmental Economics, 2011) explained: “I can’t recommend the GradClub service highly enough. They are experienced coaches, good listeners, approachable people that do all they can to help. The creative job seeking techniques I learned here not only helped me land my first job but also to keep my head up during grey job-seeking days.”
Please note: with limited places available, you must register to attend the UCL Jobs Market event.
