The survey takes just five minutes to complete and is open to students and staff. Those that take part can also enter a prize draw to win £20 worth of Amazon vouchers. The results will inform UCL's communications plans involving staff and students, particularly crisis communication planning.

Clare Ryan (UCL Media Relations) said: "We're very interested in which UCL communication channels the UCL community are using, both to hear about UCL news, and tell to us what is happening in their areas.

"Completing the survey will help us to decide the best ways to communicate with the UCL community in urgent situations, and the results will inform future crisis planning."

The survey closes on Saturday 25 February 2012.
