National Transition Conference to be held at UCL

4 April 2012

The 4th National Transition Conference will be held on Friday 11th May at UCL and staff are welcome to register.

Transition Conference

This conference is aimed at staff in higher education institutions, schools, colleges, local authorities and national networks that are involved in supporting learners in making educational transitions - particularly to higher education.

The event aims to provide a space for staff and learners involved in retention, transition, first year experience and policy to share ideas and shape the conversation on key issues.

Students and UCL staff are very welcome to attend, and will not be charged, but booking is essential.

Dr Marco Angelini, UCL Transition Manager, explained: "The UCL Transition Programme has been running a national conference on student engagement and retention issues for the last 4 years, attracting researchers and practitioners who are leading the field in student support. This year the Conference will focus on the changing financial and policy landscape of the student experience".

Please see the links below for more information. Registrations for this conference will be accepted until Friday 27 April 2012.
