UCL appoints Phil Harding as new Finance Director

Phil's appointment follows an extensive search and interviews with a very strong field of candidates. He has an excellent track record in a range of organisations in the commercial sector and the NHS, as well as higher education, and he is currently Director of Finance at City University London.

Professor Malcolm Grant, UCL President & Provost, said: "I am delighted that Phil has accepted this key role. Phil Harding spent his early career in industry with BP and Prudential, before becoming finance director of the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust. He joined the higher education sector as Finance Director at the University of Bedfordshire before spending eight years at the University of Westminster. He joined City University London in 2009.
