Wanted: student testers for Portico online portal

Student testers are required to help improve the usability of UCL's Portico system, with all participants receiving a Waterstone's voucher.

UCL Registry requires students to take part in a project to improve the usability of Portico to help improve the overall design and usefulness of the system.

Simon McLean (UCL Registry Services) explained: "I'm working on project to improve the usability of the Portico (SITS) system at UCL - a key system that every student uses during their time here. The SITS eVision Review project will utilise the feedback from students to help improve the current system. The aim of the project is to start to improve the design, user interface and overall usability of the system."

The tests will last for approximately 45 minutes and all participants will receive a £15 Waterstone's voucher. The tests will take place on in the main UCL campus.

Student participants are required for testing on the following days:

  • Wed 9 November at 10am, 11am and 12am
  • Thu 10 November at 10am, 11am, 2pm and 3pm

Please note: that there will be a preference for non HCI students since this may affect the test results.
