  • UCL teaching staff can now apply for E-Learning Development Grants (ELDGs), which are administered by the UCL Learning Technology Support Service (LTSS).

LTSS has £40,000 of funding for these grants to dispense to teaching staff in 2011-12. The Office of the Vice-Provost (Academic and International) has provided this funding to support the development of e-learning in teaching.

Small grants and personal support from a LTSS learning technologist will enable staff to develop innovative ideas. The grant also funds the employment of students to assist with these.

The grant can benefit busy academics with individual LTSS support, helping them to develop materials and learning activities.

Students benefit in two ways: those employed will gain work experience that will enhance their CV, and all students will receive high quality e-learning and support.

The closing date for applications is 28 April 2011.
