Albert Lester awarded UCL Honorary Lectureship

9 September 2009

Albert Lester has been awarded a UCL Honorary Lectureship in recognition of his tireless work for the APMP Project Management course, part of the university’s professional education programme.

Mr Lester has been part of the APMP team since the course’s launch in 1999 and has helped to develop academic course materials into content appropriate for the APMP professional qualification.

The course teaches people how to define project objectives, develop more robust project plans, build and manage committed project teams, and establish effective project review and control mechanisms.

The presentation was made on Tuesday 8 September by Professor Peter Morris, from the UCL Bartlett School of Construction and Project Management, and hosted by Professor Bert de Reyck, head of UCL Management Science and Innovation.
