He had lunch with: Professor Malcolm Grant, UCL President and Provost; Professor Ed Byrne, UCL Vice-Provost (Health) and Dean of UCL Biomedical Sciences; Professor Mike Spyer, UCL Vice-Provost (Enterprise); Professor David Price, UCL Vice-Provost (Research); and Professor Michael Worton, UCL Vice-Provost (Academic & International).

He then visited the UCL Cancer Institute, the Wolfson Institute for Biomedical Research at UCL and the London Centre for Nanotechnology.
