UCL American community enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner

Nearly 100 American students sat down to a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner hosted by UCL yesterday.


Undergraduate and postgraduate students from all faculties mingled at a drinks reception in South Cloisters before celebrating the festival with roast turkey and pumpkin pie in the Jeremy Bentham Room.

Professor Janette Atkinson, Pro-Provost for North America, welcomed the guests, who hailed from 51 colleges and universities from across the US. Josh Burris and Noah Spencer of US clothes retailer Abercrombie & Fitch, which sponsored the meal, also made a presentation.

UCL President and Provost Professor Malcolm Grant closed proceedings with an address celebrating the longstanding links between UCL and America.To find out more about UCL's academic links with the US, use the link below.
